Job description
We are Ireland’s premier independent supplier to the Hospitality Catering, Hygiene & Healthcare Trade. We are currently recruiting for a Delivery Van Driver. Our excellent team of drivers deliver to Hotels, Restaurants, Bars & Social Clubs, Private Nursing Homes and business premises as well as to Schools, & other Educational facilities throughout Ireland.
A pleasant, outgoing personality with a very positive attitude to Customer Care is essential. You should also have a strong geographical knowledge of Ireland. Although 90% of our deliveries are carried out between 6.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m., Tuesday to Friday, we do require a flexible approach to working hours so that as a business we achieve our objective of delivering “the Right Goods to the Right Customer, Every time, On Time”
Category C1 licence (up to and including 7.5t vehicle) is a requirement for this role.
HGV licence could be an advantage, for times of cover, but is not a requirement. Similar multidrop experience would also be an advantage.
