Job description
As a Multi-Skilled Plant Operator, you will have a hands-on role overseeing and operating machinery on the site, weighing vehicles in and out of site, offloading tankers, site housekeeping, managing & sampling feedstock throughout the process alongside assisting in plant maintenance, general upkeep and repairs. This role will also support the training of Junior Multi Skilled Operators.
The ideal candidate will hold relevant process operator qualifications with previous plant or process operator experience.
Our operators are essential for promoting good working practices and positive relations between staff, the local community and external regulatory bodies.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Flexible, positive and proactive attitude to their work
- Strong team player
- Driving Licence
- Basic mechanical or electrical engineering experience desirable
- Flexibility to work shifts
- Good communication skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload
- Must have basic computer skills – Excel, word etc
- Knowledge of SCADA operating system is desirable
All required training for the role will be given.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
