Job description

Bernard Mathews have a vacancy for a Multi-Skilled Engineer at our Great Witchingham site near Norwich.

The role will report to the Engineer Shift Manager, working a mix of 12 hour day and night shifts on a rota basis with 8 days off every 3-4 weeks.

Responsibilities of a Multi-Skilled Engineer:

• Maximize operating time and production efficiency
• Diagnose and repair faults
• Identify root causes of failures and reoccurring problems
• Implement improvement ideas and projects

Skills and Experience:

• Mechanical and electrical engineering experience
• Educated to a NVQ Level 3 or Diploma
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer service
• Dynamic and flexible
• Enjoy a fast-paced result driven culture
• Relish the challenge of a wide range of processes and equipment
• Experience of working in a factory environment would be advantageous

You must have own transport due to shift patterns and must be flexible in working hours for training requirements where needed.

The successful candidate may also be asked to fulfill other reasonable tasks which will be delegated from time to time.
