We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Audio Typist working within our Medical Secretarial Services here at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The audio typist will provide a support to our specialities with audio transcription. This post is working predominantly for neurosciences but also to help our other specialties as and when needed. Our secretarial service is very busy with a high volume of work and high turnaround of patients, requiring fast audio-typists to ensure correspondence is typed timeously and accurately. It is a very rewarding department to work within and the audio-typist will support our specialities and form part of the secretarial/administrative team. Ideally the hours would be worked on a Monday to Friday.
Applicants for this post should have excellent communication and organisational skills. Candidates should have a good standard of education including English to Standard Grade 3 or equivalent. Accurate keyboard skills and previous audio typing are essential.
