Mortuary Assistant : The successful candidate will have experience in working in a mortuary: The includes the preparation of the deceased for interment or cremation, liaising with, hosting and stewarding the bereaved, staff rota protocols, Help to manage a small and dedicated team of drivers and bearers. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with our dedicated funeral directors they will also ensure that our vehicle fleet is presented at the highest standards at all times. An appreciation of health and safety, hygiene, basic car maintenance would be helpful. We are a collegiate organisation and an ability to support and respect your colleagues will be essential. You will be expected to uphold the highest standards. We do require you to be a part of an on call rota for bringing loved ones into our care out of hours, this is paid in addition to your salary.
