Benley Cleaning is seeking a reliable and experienced part-time bar and venue cleaner to join our team in Leeds.
You will generally work with another colleague, but occasionally on your own, to clean bar and club venues. Working times can vary but work is usually outside of venue opening hours. You will be responsible for maintaining a pristine and hygienic environment in each venue, ensuring that all public areas, bathrooms, and back-of-house spaces are clean and tidy, as required by the venue.
Working hours and days can be flexible.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, wiping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Empty rubbish and recycling bins, dispose of waste properly
- Maintain back-of-house spaces, including the kitchen, storage areas, and employee rest areas
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the management team
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
- Reliability - this is essential!
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a venue setting
- Attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and weekends
Training will be provided.
