Position: Montessori Teacher
Salary Banding: £25,355.20-£34,153.60 Per Annum(dependant on qualification/s and experience) per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
Hours: Full time OR Part-time / Permanent (Term-time available)
Location: Haydon Hall Nursery, Pinner, London
For this position, we are offering a Welcome Bonus of either £250 or £500* (dependent on qualification level. T&C’s apply)
We are currently recruiting for a passionate qualified Montessori Teacher to join our wonderful Bright Horizons Haydon Hall Montessori Day Nursery and Preschool.

The nursery has a committed and experienced staff team. We offer a Montessori curriculum, and while knowledge of the Montessori Method is desirable, it is not essential. We do offer in-house training and the possibility of training to be a Montessori Teacher. We have parking on-site and are on the 282 bus route from Northwood Hills and Eastcote train stations.

Purpose of Role
- Consistently deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all children to develop and meets their individual needs.
- Make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests and stages of development of the child by supporting the delivery of the key person approach.
- Ensuring an enabling environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children in both the indoor and outdoor area as a continuous provision.
- Ensure that British Values are incorporated and demonstrated through Early Years Foundation Stage learning and play.
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children in line with our child protection and keeping everyone safe policies and procedures.
- Ensure internal policies and procedures are adhered whilst also meeting the external legislation and guidelines from our governing bodies.
- Promote and follow guidelines implemented for managing behaviour including supporting children to manage their own feelings and behaviours.
- Continually work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children ensuring a diverse and inclusive approach is maintained at all times.
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
What we’re looking for
