This is a great opportunity to work as a Monitoring Operations Analyst in a dynamic Shift based environment to help drive us towards the goal of a digitally enabled Bank.
By managing key events appropriately and efficiently in line with the Service framework, you will be very much involved in ensuring that key SLA’s for Service are being met whilst we continue transforming to a Digital bank.
The difference you’ll make.
- Managing the full Event end to end process for technology and Service focused triggers following agreed processes.
- Communicating clearly and concisely always is key within the team as you may engage a multitude of support teams for a variety of reasons.
- Collaborating with all departments from across the Bank, to ensure we deliver the best Service possible, as Operationally we are the Central Hub and have key relationships with Change and Incident teams.
- Recognising and understanding where all risks are in your own area, ensuring all relevant controls are followed.
- Analysing and deliver key Service Metrics from the tools available as well as enhancing views to the multitude of different Services we Deliver as a Bank.
What you’ll bring.
- Understanding of Cloud computing
- Understanding of Logical Flows. (Infrastructure /Application)
- ITIL awareness – Incident and Change disciplines specifically
It would also be nice for you to have.
- ServiceNow extensive knowledge and use.
- Previous Banking experience.
- Agile Fundamentals - including understand of IaaS, PaaS, microservices, docker and continuous deployment lifecycle. ALM.
What else you need to know.
This is a permanent role based in Milton Keynes.
This role is a shift-based role in a department that continues to evolve.
Shift allowance of 33% in addition to basic salary capped at £10,000.
Shift Pattern is on a 4-week cycle, shifts are 07:30 – 20:00 Days and 19:30 – 08:00 nights.
Shifts are 2 x days and 2 x nights then 4 off then repeating.
