The Mold cleaner is in charge of servicing injection molds after production according to accumulated shots and condition reported by production
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures that molds are cleaned greased and serviced correctly to be prepared for next production run.
- Prepares molds with right configuration per drawings according to production schedule
- Inspects and evaluates wearing, damage or abnormal condition in molds and addresses to tool maker and/or engineering
- Maintain mold storing locations accurate
- Supports all tool room activities related with molds
- Coordinates with production to ensure that all molds are available and ready to run on time.
- Documents all work performed to molds
- Adheres to good manufacturing practices and safety guidelines
- Follow schedule for work shifts, meetings, time off, overtime, and break
- Performs minor machining activities required to service molds (Bridgeport, lathe, surface grinder)
- High School diploma or college degree
- Mechanical skills
- Detailed and organized
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, electricity, pneumatic, hydraulics
- 2 to 4 years in injection molding environment
- Email, Microsoft Office)
We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $40.00 - $45.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law
