Mobile Vending Operative – York

Due to upcoming new contracts a position has become available for a mobile vending operative living in the york or surrounding Area.

This is a permanent full time position – 40 hours per week. We offer £11.25 per hour as well as paid overtime.

We are a successful family run business established over 50 years ago and are proud of our approach to staff - we expect you to be self-disciplined and motivated and capable of managing your own working day. This opportunity involves the cleaning and filling of drinks and snacks vending machines within our customers’ premises. You will manage and complete vending rounds allocated to you to a satisfactory standard ensuring that our customers’ needs are met at all times.

The successful candidate will be:

· Reliable and honest

· Presentable and happy – you are the face of the company to our customers

· Able to organise a van well and clean vending machines thoroughly (full training provided)

· Honest and security conscious

· Comfortable with basic IT

· An organised individual with a flexible attitude

· Physically capable for the requirements of the job – some heavy lifting (up to 25kg)

It is preferred, but not essential, that you have some vending or cleaning experience – full training will be provided

You must also:

· Live in the York or surrounding area

· Have a full driving licence and be confident driving a large van (Renault Master/Citroen Relay)
