Job Title: Mobile Phone Repair Technician
Salary: £22,875-£24,825 OTE
Working Hours: 37.5 hours, 8.15am until 4.45pm, 5 days out of 7 with some Saturday working required on a rota basis.

Due to our continued growth a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join TMT First as an experienced Mobile Phone Repair Technician in our highly skilled repair team in our state-of-the-art repair lab based in Newcastle under Lyme.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for you to showcase your experience and ability where you will have the opportunity to grow your knowledge and develop new skills. You will work in our state-of-the-art repair lab using official parts, hardware, and software systems.

Duties will include:

  • Repairs will include the replacement of mechanical components on electronic devices.
  • Able to use designated repair tools and follow strict guidelines on processes.
  • Must be able to hit strict KPI’s and turn around time’s while maintaining a high-quality standard.
  • Accurately record all work completed within internal systems using manual processes and scanning equipment.
  • Be responsible and take ownership of all devices allocated to you showing an understanding of customer and business needs.
  • Work with skill and care to reduce parts failure and therefore lower financial impact.
  • Follow best practice in stock handling processes at all times and maintaining stock integrity.
  • Feedback to Team Leaders any issues or delays to work so they can be resolved, and the customer’s expectation managed.
  • Respects business and Customer confidentiality.
  • General housekeeping in the Repair Centre to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment and raise health and safety concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work station at all times
  • Work in other areas of TMT First in line with Customer and Business needs.
  • Consistently demonstrate that you are living the company values.

About You

The successful applicant must be a team player, have strong organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail and be computer literate. It is also important to be able to multitask and be adaptable due to using multiple internal and external software systems as well as being familiar with the make up and workings of Android devices.
