NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support our contracts in Central Scotland, ideally based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.
You will provide Mechanical reactive and planned maintenance works to a range of plant and equipment for tenanted and landlord areas.
Responsible for undertaking reactive & planned maintenance works to HVAC plant & associated equipment ensuring HVAC plant is maintained at all times to current standards & legislation.
This includes servicing and repair of a range of mechanical plant & equipment.
The position is Mobile and a company van is provided, therefore a UK Driving License is required.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Complete fault finding & repair of a range of mechanical plant & equipment.
- Responsible for diagnosing and rectifying mechanical & plant faults, ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained.
- Effective servicing, fault diagnosis & repair work of HVAC equipment to current standards.
- Submission of clear, concise & accurate reports of work carried out.
You will have:
- Previously working as a mechanical and maintenance service engineer within the commercial sector, undertaking routine plant repairs & maintenance.
- Ideally all candidates should have undertaken a formal mechanical apprenticeship.
- Service and repair of HVAC equipment
- Risk Assessment and Method Statement approval and associated Work Permit’s
- M&E fault finding
- Small mechanical installation works (pumps, valves, taps, etc…)
- Control panels – PPMs and actuators
- Pumps, AHUs, FCUs, filters, belts, pulleys
