Halo Recruit are working in partnership with one of the UKs specialist housing experts to recruit for an experienced Part Time Mobile Cleaner to join their team covering the Bournemouth region.
This is a permanent opportunity, working directly for our Client. The role is mobile, and will cover the Company's portfolio of self-contained and shared accommodation properties within the Bournemouth region. The successful postholder will be provided with a Company vehicle and fuel card for the purposes of carrying out their role, therefore a full UK driving licence is a mandatory requirement of the role.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
The role will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining a range of supported living properties within the Company's accomodation portfolio, ensuring that they operate as smoothly and effectively as possible.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning of rooms / properties as directed, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to a high standard
- Cleaning of void rooms / properties, preparing them for new residents
- Removal of rubbish, disposing of it correctly
- Checking kitchen appliances are clean and free from hazards, as well as common areas
- Ensure that all houses are hygienic and well maintained
- Report any repairs to the maintenance office team
- Support when no lone working is required
- Carry out sharps sweeps as required (full training to be provided, but previous experience in this would be preferred).
This role is carried out at residential tenanted properties where some tenants are complex/vulnerable and therefore the candidate must be comfortable working with sometimes challenging clients from a variety of backgrounds. Lone working experience is preferred, and candidates must be willing to undergo a DBS check as part of the pre-employment checks for the role.
A driving license is an essential requirement, and a Company vehicle will be provided. All cleaning materials and tools will be provided.
Hours of Work
This is a part time role, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Shift times are 10am-3pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary and Benefits
Up to £15,000 per annum, based on a full time salary of £24,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
