Cleaner (Mobile)
£10.90 per hour
Location – Mobile, covering North Yorkshire, from Stokesley to Selby and everywhere in between. (A company vehicle will be provided for work journeys. Applicants MUST have valid driving license and confidence driving between sites across all of North Yorkshire.)
Broadacres Housing Association provides a range of services to over 6,000 homes in North Yorkshire and beyond. We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team on a full-time basis (37 hours per week).
The successful person will be part of a great team with strong professional relationships and work closely with many other teams and customers in the organisation.
The successful applicant will work flexibly and on a shift rotation with the rest of the team with some shifts starting 7am-3pm. There will however be no weekend work.
The post holder will provide an effective and efficient cleaning service at all times. General cleaning duties include:
- Vacuuming and emptying/cleaning of bins
- Dusting
- Cleaning toilets
- As well as controlled mopping of hard floor surfaces
You will be responsible for the safe and correct disposal of waste in accordance with Broadacres policies and procedures. Considering the COVID 19 virus a thorough deep clean is needed frequently.
Knowledge of COSHH regulations and a commitment to Health and Safety, with the ability to work unsupervised is essential. You will also have excellent interpersonal and housekeeping skills. Attention to detail is fundamental to the role.
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE A VALID UK DRIVING LICENSE. If you do not demonstrate this in your application you will not be selected for interview. It is essential that you have a valid UK driving license for this role due to the distance between sites. A company car will be provided to you during work hours.
You will be provided with a mobile device and lone working device for this role so a basic level of computer literacy and confidence using a mobile device is desirable for training and keeping up with organisational communications.
