Your role as a Mobile Cleaner:
This role will entail working within a mobile team of cleaners providing both planned and reactive cleaning service across all academic, administrative, and residential buildings across all campuses and supporting during events, graduations, open days, exams and also supporting the wider local cleaning teams.
Cleaning duties includes carrying out deep cleaning and other specialised cleaning practices across several University Campuses and also both high and low level cleaning of internal and external areas such as light fittings, carpets, upholstery and also bus shelters, bin stores, bike sheds, hub white goods etc.
Candidates should be customer focused, have a vast knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment gained within a similar role, be a team player and have the ability to deal with emergency situations and attending emergencies (burst water pipes, spillages, and body fluids etc).
Important aspect of the role is providing excellent customer service at all times and ensuring wherever possible all campus facilities are maintained at the highest appropriate level of service and the student experience is prioritised throughout the service delivery.

Hours of Work
- Hours of work are 36.25 per week, worked 5 days out of 7 to be arranged between 8:00am and 5.30pm. Flexibility will be required. This position is offered on a permanent basis. Job share arrangements may be considered.

The successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which will run each day, Monday to Friday mornings. Further details will be given at interview.
