Job description

Our web development are at the forefront of Net World Sports, constantly researching, testing and implementing innovative solutions to offer customers the very best online experience and drive our business forwards.

You’ll be helping to implement a range of development projects and tasks, from module development to wide scale rollouts on our mobile applications. Working alongside other teams you’ll be bringing to life exciting features which will result in positive customer engagement. With all your work, you’ll ensure thorough testing is carried out on all projects to guarantee effective functionality.

You’ll help to find ways to improve our global mobile applications, ensuring that customers receive the very best shopping experience. Our new mobile application is currently being launched on Apple iOS, so you’ll gain varied experience as we look to make constant improvements, optimising the user journey each time.
We then have a number of exciting new projects that we’re looking to start this year. There’s a lot of scope for multiple avenues of development and you’ll be able to focus on areas that appeal to you.

Experience we're looking for:

  • You’ll be able to produce clean and well documented code
  • Knowledge of iOS development, Swift and Xcode
  • Knowledge of web-based API integration
  • JavaScript development experience with one or more JS frameworks like Vue.js or React
  • Experience with SCSS/SASS
  • Mobile design pattern knowledge
  • Experience creating aps using android and Kotlin
  • GitHub, Stack Overflow
  • Must have supported full life-cycle of app development from inception to go live.

Desirable:

  • Experience implementing payments on mobile with Apple pay/Google pay
  • Experience with GraphQL or in general eCommerce experience would be desirable

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday - we offer flexible working hours which can be discussed in the interview

Remote working available - must be flexible to attend on-site for project meetings when needed. Must be based in the UK.
