About The Opportunity
As the Mining Solutions Manager, based at our office in London, you will play a key role in identifying and engaging new customers for Micromine. Your work will solidify customer relationships and convert leads into sales of our mining solutions.
Reporting to the Regional Manager (Africa, Middle East, & Europe), your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating strategies for prospecting new customers.
- Properly qualifying prospects to efficiently manage your time.
- Managing the full end-to-end sales process, including product demonstrations, objection handling, and closing deals.
- Ensuring optimal product delivery and client training via the Service team.
- Participating in marketing events, such as trade shows and product launches.
- Collecting and sharing market intelligence with the Micromine Strategy and Technology teams.
About You
You will have a background in mining engineering, as well as exposure to business development or consultancy work.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in mining engineering or a related discipline.
- Expertise in open pit mine planning and scheduling.
- Ideally some experience in business development, or alternatively, consultancy experience where you worked with clients to identify and resolve issues.
- Whilst not essential, experience with using mining software would be beneficial.
