Recovery Worker for Extended Access
Salary scale: £11.87 per hour increasing to £12.14 on successful completion of a probationary period.
Hours: Various shifts – minimum of 7 hours per week.
Contract: Fixed Term to until 31st March 2024.
Base: Kenburgh House, Bradford. Home working
Responsible to: Service Manager
Pension: We operate a contributory pension scheme which you will be auto-enrolled into (subject to the conditions of the scheme).
Probationary period: 6 months

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Worker to offer phone support to people struggling with their mental health in Bradford. We are looking to recruit practitioners to work a minimum of two 3.5 hour shifts from home between the hours of 18:15 - 21:45.
You will support up to three clients each shift offering them an hour-long appointment, providing early intervention support.
Support is focused on identifying client’s individual needs and supporting them to make positive changes to stay well, whether this be through practical advice, guidance, or completing onward referrals with clients into long-term support services.
The role will appeal to those who have experience of working in a mental health setting with young people or adults, and are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
You should be passionate about encouraging clients to achieve positive changes in their lives, and have an understanding of the current challenges those with mental health needs may face.
Excellent IT skills are essential to record and maintain client records. It is expected that you will have an understanding of other organisations across the Bradford District that can support our clients.
