An opportunity has arisen for a Mill Operative to join their team on a on-going basis. This is the ideal role for a Mill Operative looking to develop their career with an award-winning company. As a Mill Operative, you will be pressing batches of raw materials to the required formulation with the required hand additives and optimizing the possible throughput to meet the press requirements ensuring good physical quality and product segregation. Your duties will include: Pressing batches of raw materials to the required formulations Function in all production sections Cleaning down work areas Ensuring good physical quality and product segregation Maintaining written/computer records Carry out die changes and roller adjustments Being fully aware of cross contamination rules and understand food safety expectations Adhering to health and safety regulations Carrying out quality checks To be considered for the role of Mill Operative , you must have/ be: Excellent punctuality Physically fit Experience in a production environment Effective team working Excellent attention to detail Although not essential, Counter balance licence would be preferred.
