£12.00 - £13.20 p/h

£25,500 - £28,000 pa

Recruiting 2-5 staff to join existing staff of 130 delivering new build commercial vehicle work into the UK market for an international customer base. The Green Agenda is rapidly creating exciting challenges and opportunities.

The role

• Creating piece parts and sub-assemblies for brand new bus chassis’ for the UK and overseas customers.
• Production style welding in a variety of positions
• Finishing and quality assurance of products
• Manual handling of products and equipment

Standard working hours are 6-2:30 Mon – Thurs & 6-11 Friday

Overtime rates available

Experience and qualifications

• 2+ years MIG/MAG/TIG experience
• Ability to work with and understand engineering drawings and weld notation
• Positive and self-motivated attitude to work
• Willing to learn new processes and procedures
• Good eye for detail and tenacity for fixing problems
