We are currently recruiting for a Middleweight Interior Designer to join the Harrods Interior Design team.
About the Role
As a Middleweight Interior Designer, you’ll assist in delivering a wide range of luxury projects from concept design through to FF&E selection and the production of detailed design intent information and presentations.
You will be responsible for tracking the production of all drawings and other information required by the architects and contractors. You’ll be carrying out detailed and accurate drawing packages in line with Client Brief and Senior Designer guidelines also monitoring the budget for each project.
Your day to day will also include:
- Assisting the Senior Designer in the running of large Luxury Residential Projects
- Manage your own smaller scale projects
- Creating mood boards and presentations for said projects
- Monitoring the budget for each project
- Working closely with the Procurement Team to ensure products are specified and projects are delivered on time
- Creating and maintaining the installation schedule
About you
As an experienced Middleweight Interior Designer, you will have previous experience working on High End Luxury Residential Projects. Throughout your career you will have managed multiple projects (both in London and Internationally) and supported your design team in delivering these inline with client expectations, budgets and deadlines.
You’ll possess great knowledge of Interior Architecture & Design as well as FF&E products, finishes, their fabrication techniques and operational applications. Possessing not only design flair and creativity, you will also have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will also:
- Be confident in using Adobe, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office
- Be proactive in their approach
- Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities
- Be professional and well presented
- Be able to manage stakeholders from junior to senior level
- Be a strong communicator
- Be able to travel domestically and internationally when needed (site visits, installations etc)
