Ravensdale Infant and Nursery School is a larger than average infant and nursery school and the only one of its kind in the local area. We are a Local Authority School and work closely as a positive and supportive staff team alongside our parents and community. An important element of our school is to use the outdoor environment at every opportunity, to enhance and enrich our curriculum. We also believe that all children should become fluent, confident and enthusiastic readers whilst at our school. These two ‘golden threads’ of reading and outdoor learning are woven through our planning and practice at every opportunity.
We have an exciting and forward-thinking approach to behaviour in school and all staff use this system of positive behaviour management, which makes a very happy and calm environment to learn and work.
After our school fire in October 2020, we are now in our brand new school which after a difficult two years is now an exciting time for us. Visits to the school are very welcome.
At RINS we aim to recruit individuals who display the competence and character to drive our school and children to ‘be ambitious, spark imagination, celebrate success’.
In return for your hard work and dedication we will offer you:
A supportive environment and a dedicated team around you where talents are valued and nurtured.
High quality continuous professional development.
A fantastic community of children, teachers, governors, and parents.
Visits to our school sites, or informal discussions are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please contact Lisa Lane, Office Administrator on 01332 513862 or email [email protected] to arrange an appointment.
Ravensdale Infant and Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children and expects all staff to share in this.
Due to this post having access to children, candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
