What’s the Job?

Castore is a premium sportswear brand for men and women. Castore Mainline is the home of our advanced performance, active and lifestyle collections.

Reporting to the Head of Design on Castore Mainline, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the creation of the Castore mainline collection from concept to completion. You will also work closely with & coordinate the relationship with the product development team and suppliers where necessary.


What will I do?

  • To work closely with the Head of Design in defining & delivering the mainline collection.
  • Conduct research into products, fabric, colour, knit, print and trims
  • Compile strong seasonal moodboards, research boards and reference materials in line with the seasonal briefs and relevant to the Castore brand.
  • Create, manage and finalise tech packs for the collection
  • Work with the Head of Design to prepare all aspects of the design process for key design milestones, meetings and reviews.
  • Research and find new sustainable fabrics and production methods to improve sustainability

What skills and qualities will I need?

  • BA in Fashion, Sportswear or Textiles.
  • +4 years of proven design experience within the sportswear apparel industry. A combination of premium brand experience combined with performance sportswear / activewear experience a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively on several projects simultaneously
  • A strong work ethic, integrity and reliability with a “Hands on” attitude
  • Great time management skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Microsoft Office
  • A working knowledge of 3D and computational tools a plus
