Microsoft M365 Intranet Adoption Specialist
Loc: Hyde Park , NY
Responsibilities:
- As an M365 Intranet Adoption Specialist, Responsible for usage and adoption of Microsoft 365 applications through a variety of training and community outreach initiatives to educate the business how to create and manage SharePoint sites.
- Play a critical role in preparing the organization for the implementation of a new intranet platform using the Microsoft 365 suite, with a primary focus on SharePoint, Yammer, and other relevant tools.
- Training delivery and content will help learners discover the value of apps within the M365 suite to ultimately help them be more productive in their roles. Your hands on training delivery will enable users to (but not limited to) update, manage, create, and add features to their new Intranet pages on SharePoint.
➢Develop and execute a comprehensive adoption strategy to drive user engagement and ensure successful adoption of the new intranet platform. Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate the benefits of the platform, address concerns, and facilitate a smooth transition for all users.
➢Develop a comprehensive training program tailored to business stakeholders responsible for managing intranet spaces. Design training materials, presentations, and user guides to effectively educate and empower contributors in utilizing the Microsoft 365 suite for content generation and management.
➢Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate stakeholders on best practices for managing their spaces, creating compelling content, and leveraging collaboration and communication tools such as SharePoint and Yammer. Provide ongoing support, guidance, and troubleshooting assistance to ensure contributors have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize the platform.
➢Collaborate with stakeholders to define content strategies and provide guidance on creating and organizing content within the intranet platform. Offer expertise in structuring and optimizing content for easy navigation, searchability, and user engagement.
➢Gather feedback from primary contributors and end-users to identify areas for improvement in the intranet and wiki platform. Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to implement enhancements and updates that enhance usability, functionality, and user experience. Specifically, this resource must have specific skills and knowledge in areas that include:
➢A deep understanding of change management principles and best practices and be able to apply them to ensure that stakeholders are prepared for and effectively manage the changes resulting from the project ➢Project management methodologies and tools and be able to apply them effectively to support the project team Microsoft M365 Intranet Adoption Specialist
➢The ability to design and deliver effective training programs and to create and maintain training materials that reflect Intranet transitions. These materials need to effectively deliver education to the business showing how to fully manage, create, update, add features, etc. to their Intranet sites on SharePoint
➢Must be able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and be able to adapt to changes in project scope, timelines, and resources.
➢A comprehensive understanding of Microsoft 365 Collaboration Services including SharePoint, Viva/Yammer, Stream, Teams.
