The position will report to: Director Amazon E-Commerce

Overall Responsibilities:

End to end ownership of Amazon Marketing and Merchandising with PNL ownership to develop and execute a strategy to grow Sol de Janeiro's presence on Amazon. Deliver monthly, quarterly, and yearend financial targets inclusive of Ad sales and margin goals. Develop long term Amazon vision in partnership with E-Commerce team cultivating a halo relationship between the consumer end points.

Campaign Strategy and Analysis:

  • Leverage 3rd party agency to improve the effectiveness of our bidding strategy and operational efficiency
  • Seek opportunities for growth through competitive research, trend insights, beta participation, and self-guided experimentation, reporting findings and acting on improvements
  • Drive new customer acquisition through successful campaign activation in partnership with Global Marketing
  • Monitor and optimize PPC campaigns across Amazon to improve performance for optimal ROI
  • Define performance and optimization process & best practice guidelines and create a robust knowledge base for internal/external use
  • Responsible for owning the key metrics focused towards driving exponential growth of search
  • Expert use of data to make optimal decisions and recommendations for website content. Comfortable working with large data sets to find key insights and interpret data into visual presentations.
  • Execution of online merchandising strategies, with the goal of optimizing the customer experience to increase sales and improve conversion rates
  • Ensuring that site content is correctly prioritized, optimized, and refreshed to create clear, accurate, and effective customer shopping experiences
  • Successful execution and implementation of seasonal campaigns
  • Site Optimization efforts and experimentation including testing and creative optimization
  • Weekly and monthly reporting and analysis of operating and financial performance
  • Strong project management over a variety of tasks with varying deadlines and priorities. Knows how to manage time and get things done in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Creation, curation, and optimization of customer journeys to maximize learning and buying for our customers

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of strong digital marketing experience driving acquisition and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field of study
  • Budget and forecasting management experience
  • Proficiency with 3rd party campaign management with an agency
  • An in-depth understanding of automated bid strategies with experience optimizing towards CPC or ROAS goals
  • Proven ability with using data and analytics to drive strategy and decision-making
  • Impeccable communication skills with a knack for project management

Salary Range

$120,000—$135,000 USD

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
