REDFITS is an eCommerce company operating out of a beautiful office space in Hemel Hempstead.
We are an independently owned, fast-growing, successful online retailer, selling various exclusive brands through Amazon and other selling platforms including retail.
We are seeking a proactive and driven Merchandiser with retail/e-commerce experience to support the Marketplace team to maximise the sales and profits through thoughtful analysis, demand & category planning alongside seasonal forecasting and trading.
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain this role will be responsible for the following:
- Own the annual forecasting and inventory demand planning across our UK, European & N.American markets by product line to ensure accurate stock and sales projections are maintained throughout the year and inline with company strategy.
- Planning and communicating weekly outbound stock movements for our N. American, European and UK markets to deliver agreed KPI’s.
- Owning and developing merchandise tools to grow sales & support the delivery and measurement of KPIs weekly, monthly annually at category level.
- Provide insight into online trade performance alongside Marketplace teams.
- Communicating opportunities and risk as a key member of the weekly Trading meeting.
- Input into identifying clearance, sale and liquidation lines and proposing solutions.
- Work closely and provide a bridge between Purchasing & Marketplace teams.
- You will act as a mentor to members on the Redfits team, providing coaching to elevate the skill set of the business stock planning function.
- Build cross-functional relationships across Logistics, Purchasing and Finance.
- Other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested.
Experience we are looking for;
- Experience working at Merchandiser in a multiple category/brand merchandising or planning role.
- Experience in range & demand planning and inseason trading for a retail or ecommerce business.
- Can demonstrate operational excellence through collaboration with key stakeholders and ownership of projects.
- Organised with a strong numerical & analytical mindset. Must also be able to take commercial decisions, considering both the customer and business needs.
- Excellent Excel or Google sheet skills.
- Past experience working in a fast paced business environment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience working with Amazon Marketplace not essential but would be considered favourably.
