JOB TITLE: Merchandiser

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our BAPE team at our London Office to support the management team to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor performance.

What’s your main responsibility
- Liaise with the management team and retail team to review the existing stock and plan the OTB for Pre-season Buy for all product lines
- Provide weekly, monthly Sales and stock analysis reports and provide potential action when required
- Analyse the previous season’s sales performance, market trends and customer behaviour to anticipate future product needs
- Monitor slow sellers and work closely with the Retail team to provide suggestions as necessary
- Control stock levels based on forecasts
- Responsible for conducting the market research on the up-coming market trend and assist in identifying business opportunities and risks in-season through analysing sales performance and market benchmarks
- Manage WSSIs and create seasonal weekly forecasts which are in line with business KPIs
- Responsible for seasonal analysis that for strategic decision making within the business
- Propose the Stock Allocation for different platforms and assist in any adjustment when needed
- Liaise with HQ for overseas deliveries with reference to stock issues, delivery information
- Manage pricing & product lifecycle management.
Who you are:
- At least 3 years’ experience in Retail Merchandising role (fashion), and EU retail merchandising experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in excel
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
- Excellent communicator in both verbal and written
- Commercial and market awareness
- Reliable and acts in a timely manner
- Flexibility to travel
