OVERVIEW:
The Merchandise Planning Admin Assistant role exists to own replenishment and allocation for stores as well as acting as a general support resource for any appropriate tasks for the entire team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Supporting allocation and replenishment of stock to our flagship London store.
- Support delivering detailed and timely merchandise analysis to inform merchandise planning strategy.
- Supporting the wider team in all administrative tasks used to ensure documents are kept up to date and as accurate as possible.
- Having a basic understanding of the competitive landscape across regions.
- Reconciling inbound stock to seasonal purchases on behalf of the team.
- Regularly communicating with the Sourcing, Procurement & Logistics teams to ensure we have the most accurate information such as inbound stock or supplier capacities.
- Supporting the weekly and seasonal trade reviews for your categories, assisting in the delivery of relevant analysis, sharing of performance and being reactive in our planning.
- Actualising WSSI & line flow sales & stock data
- Maintain the accuracy of the seasonal line plans - owning attribution adjustments and quantity accuracy based on any updates
- Attend inbound supply meetings, keeping on top of any details and effectively communicating and escalating any issues up the team.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Essential Criteria:
- Full Microsoft suite experience
- Curiously analytical and observant towards working with data
- High attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for fashion and the Gymshark brand
WHAT YOU COULD ALSO HAVE:
- Any prior experience working in a merchandising type role
- Advanced mathematical/accountancy or economics-type based education
- Intermediate/advanced excel training or experience
- Presenting experience
- Experience working in a D2C ecommerce fashion/apparel business
- Prior retail allocation and replenishment experience
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
