Summary
The Governing body of Queens Drive Primary School are seeking to appoint an excellent Mentoring and Pupil Support Worker. This position will be part of the already existing pastoral team of 2. We are a large primary school in Fulwood with 427 children on roll. The successful applicant will be working directly with pupils to provide mentoring and/or support to overcome particular obstacles to learning in relation to behaviour or attendance. This position is full time (37 hours) term time only plus 5 INSET days (Monday - Friday).

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
Essential Experience
- Experience of recording safeguarding concerns or incidents
- Experience of attending TAF, CIN, CP Conferences and core group meetings
- Experience of using the continuum of need
Desirable Experience
- Experience of implementing direct work with families and children
- Experience of accompanying families to appointments
- Experience of undertaking home visits
