Salary: £25,190 + excellent benefits
Hours / Contract: 35 hrs p/w (flexible working) – Fixed Term to 31st March 2025
Location: Remote First – Prison/Community (North West England) and Home Based

The Opportunity
The Ministry of Justice is procuring a service to support people in prison and people on probation with their financial wellbeing. We will work hand in hand with probation/prison staff to support people access the financial support they need, engage with relevant services, manage and coordinate their debts, budget better, and access the right benefits. Financial wellbeing is an issue for over half of people on probation or in prison and the delivery of this service will be pivotal in improve outcomes for vulnerable people who need our support.
This contract will supplement and compliment the existing 17 Ministry of Justice contracts we deliver across England and Wales.
You will play a key role in helping the Wise Group to increase our impact in our Justice work. Ensuring people entering and leaving the justice system receive the necessary support to help them manage their own finance, benefit and debt needs which is essential to their rehabilitation and integration back into the community. This builds upon the work we already do across Personal Wellbeing, Women and Accommodation services.
