The Opportunity
Prospero Health & Social Care are looking for Mental Health Support Workers to deliver the best standards and quality of care to a specific Mental Health Hospital to work on a temporary basis to suit their work / life balance.
This specific unit is looking for ad-hoc cover to care for its residents to provide them with the very best treatment, care and quality of life working with a closely knit team of Nurses & Support Workers. The home is a rehabilitation unit of low security. It offers :-
- A primary diagnosis of mental illness or personality disorder, who would benefit treatment offered within a rehabilitation service.
- Individuals who mental health illness coexists with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, substance misuse.
- Individuals who may have disengaged and failed to maintain contact with treatment services in the past.
- Individuals who would benefit from support from rehabilitation services in preparing them to live independently in the community.

- Location – Thornhill, North Cardiff (Near Caerphilly)

- Full time/part time – Part time with varied shift patterns, Full Time hours also available
- Hours – Various Early shifts, late shifts and nights shifts available. Night cover preferred though weekend shifts available.
Requirements:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- DBS (Updated or New)
- TMVA / PMVA training. If needs refreshing then we as a company could help you.
- Provide two professional references
- Possess 6 months experience within care settings within the UK.
- Must possess a caring, flexible nature
