The relocation package is for anyone joining the Trust in a Clinical role who would need to relocate in order to take up employment with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the Clinical team you will be in reviewing referrals to Cheshire Camhs, phoning and speaking with families, advising supporting and triaging the referral, you will be taking part in the “CYP Adviceline” helping support professionals, Families and Young people with asking about referrals, giving advice over the phone and you will also be part of the “Access” function trying to prevent and giving as early access to intervention as possible. This will be a busy post although the team are linked to their base in Central Cheshire working from Home will be required for some of your hours.

You must have computer skills as all systems are electronic

We have a B6 post available: 37.5 hrs

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Core profession (Social Care, Nursing, Allied Health Professional, and Clinical Psychologists) or  recognised degree level broad based health & social care qualification which will require completion of The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) Knowledge Skills and Attributes https://www.babcp.com/Accreditation/CBP/KS A.aspx KSA Accreditation profiles
  • Professional registration with recognised National Body (HCPC, NMC, BACP,BABCP BASW, TRA)
Desirable criteria
  • Teaching, Mentoring qualification
  • Therapeutic Training to intermediate / diploma level

Knowledge and Expertise

Essential criteria
  • Working knowledge of specialist therapeutic approaches e.g. CBT, Family Therapy
  • Knowledge of Child Protection workings and Practice
  • Working knowledge of Children related legislation
  • Experience of inter-agency working
  • Experience of writing, implementing and evaluating Care / Treatment Plans
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working with Students/ Learners
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Post qualification experience of working within a CAMHs or Child Mental Health related field.
  • Recognised Experience of working with a specific therapeutic approach. E.g. CBT, Family Therapy, SFBT.
  • Undertaking formal and informal Clinical Risk assessments
  • Undertaking Mental Health Assessments
  • Keyboard skills, including using databases, Microsoft Office and clinical systems
Desirable criteria
  • Post qualifying experience of working within NHS community CAMHS
