Job Title: Member Administration Manager
Reporting to: Head of Member Engagement
Direct Reports: x3 – Member Communications Coordinator (MC Co), Member Services Assistant and Receptionist.
Role Overview
Based at our Head Office in Bradford the successful candidate will be working with and supporting the Head of Member Engagement, you will be working on developing all areas of our member (farmer) engagement strategy including all elements of the marketing mix and customer service.
Press & Advertising
- The writing of and distribution of press releases.
- Ensuring all messaging we send to the press is 100% consistent and in-line with our overall aims and objectives.
- Project managing the UK and regional advertising campaigns.
- Quantifying the PR and advertising activity.
Shows & Events
- Delivering, planning and managing wool tours to our Head Office. Ensuring all messaging is consistent and on brand.
- Project managing all aspects of British Wool’s presence at agricultural shows.
- Collating and reviewing all feedback from agricultural shows.
Targeted Sales
- Under guidance from the Head of Member Engagement, work with the depots on specific targeting projects which ensure British Wool maximises its wool intake.
Communications:
- Develop strong relationships with all departments and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with Board and Regional Committee members where required.
- Take ownership of the direct communication process with members.
Member Services:
- Manage the day-to-day activity of the Member Services team.
- Ensuring the members interactions with the business are always to a high standard across all touch points, constantly looking for areas where this can be improved.
- Managing the reception function, always ensuring adequate cover.
Requirements:
Essential:
A strong communicator – verbally and in writing.
A team player.
Experience of managing a team.
Good organisational skills – the ability to manage multiple tasks / projects.
Time Management – managing their time effectively and that of the team.
Head office based – flexible working available - minimum 4 days in the office (1 day working from home)
Use of MS Office – specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Desirable:
Experience within a communication / customer service role.
