Job Title: Medical Records Administrator

Hours: Mon- Fri 8am-4pm (37.5 hours) (Part Time hours negotiable)

About the Trust

Doncaster Royal Infirmary is located on Thorne Rd, Doncaster DN2 5LT, it is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is onsite parking (Fees will apply). Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT an overall CQC rating of good.

What you’ll be responsible for:

· To accurately file Health Records on return to the department using the departmental process in a timely manner using the iFit System

· Safe manual handling of boxes of 10-15kgs

· To retrieve Health Records from the library for Out-patient clinics and any other requests using the departmental process in a timely manor

· Responsible for ensuring casenotes are tagged and associated correctly and correcting any errors

· Printing and actioning of IT reports/requests from iFit System

· To action emails coming into the department

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written

· Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel

· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

· Previous administrative experience

· NHS System Knowledge-
