- We are looking for someone new to join our established reception team as part of a team of 6.
- Working hours would be:
- Monday 08:30-17:00 Tuesday 08:00-17:00 Wednesday 08:30-13:00 Thursday 08:00 - 14:00 Friday 07:45 - 18:30. These ours fit with our current team. Total hours 36.75 hrs over 5 days
· We are a super friendly 3 GP Partner Practice with 1 salaried GP. Also we have a wonderful and supportive clinical team consisting of 2 Physician Associates, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 3 nurses and 3 Health Care Assistants together with a part-time practice pharmacist. We are a relatively small team of 24 staff working varied hours.
· We are a member of Devizes Primary Care Network which means we work closely with our colleagues at Southbroom Surgery, Market Lavington Surgery and St James Surgery. We have recently set up a unique on the day urgent care service based at the new Devizes Health Centre. This has been a great improvement to our on the day service offered to the patients of the practices in our PCN.
· We have 6900 patients from Devizes and the surrounding area and are based out of the town centre of Devizes.
· Our reception team rotate duties throughout the day to ensure variety this would mean you would work a mixture of the front desk/Prescriptions/Scanning/ answering the phones and undertaking other administrative tasks.
· Previous NHS or reception experience an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. We use a clincial system called SystmOne so knowledge of this would be a great advantage.
· Uniform is provided
· DBS Check will be undertaken
The successful applicant will be :
· Enthusiastic, empathetic, diligent and caring.
· Able to work under pressure as it can be very busy at times
· Flexible to cover annual leave /sickness
· Have excellent customer service skills and resilience
· Enjoy working as part of a small team
· Possess minimum of basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills
Job Type: Full-time
