About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Time, MLA to join the Blood Transfusion department at Barnet & Chase Farm Hospitals.
Main duties will include assisting with the daily running of the Blood Transfusion laboratory, to assist in the performance of the routine diagnostic analytical work of the department as directed and to maintain the highest professional and technical standards in the department.
The successful candidate will be a familiar and confident user of laboratory computers and telephone systems and maintain equipment for performing tasks in the Blood Transfusion laboratory. You should have good processing and data entry skills. There’s also a requirement to participate late shifts and weekends.
