About the role:
An opportunity has arisen to join our Molecular Pathology Department to assist with Covid-19 testing. Applications are invited from enthusiastic and motivated staff to join our team as an MLA in our laboratory in the Halo Building, Kings Cross, London.
The successful applicant will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, electronically tracking, organisation and the processing of Covid samples. The role is essential to the smooth running of the department. You will also be expected to help in the nucleic acid extraction lab as required, preparing samples for PCR amplification. We are looking for someone who is positive, proactive and attention to detail is essential.
The successful applicant will work a 37.5hr week over 5 days that may cover weekend working.
