North West London Pathology (NWLP) is a new partnership between Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Chelsea & Westminster NHS Trust and The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Trust. The partnership represents a new model for delivering pathology testing in a modern, efficient operation that manages 25 million tests per year. Our services are delivered at six hospital sites across North West London.
An opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic band 3 Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) to join our friendly and dedicated Blood Sciences team at West Middlesex University Hospital. This is a permanent band 3 post.
The successful applicant will work in specimen reception booking in specimens, transporting specimens to relevant laboratory area, booking and sending off referral work as well as the maintenance and housekeeping of the specimen reception section.
Applications are sought from self-motivating individuals who work as a team. Applicants must have a desire to learn and develop within our busy laboratories.
