Job description
Weqas is one of the largest External Quality Assessment (EQA) providers in the United Kingdom with over 600 clients providing services to both laboratory and POCT diagnostic services.
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to work within this fast paced environment.
A methodical and flexible approach to work and excellent attention todetail are essential for this role.
Duties performed by the MLA team support the scientific teams across all areas of the Weqas organisation.
The main duties include:
- Dispensing, labelling and dispatch of EQA / IQC / QCRM material.
- Separation of blood products and preparation of samples for further testing.
- Check and maintain stock levels of consumables.
- General office duties including the data entry of results, packing of reports and mail shots, filing, scanning and label printing.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
