Job description
To provide a service to wards and departments within City Hospitals Sunderland and across CHoICE serviced buildings with regards to medical devices, ensuring they are decontaminated, tested and fit for purpose To collect and deliver medical devices to and from wards and departments To have a sound knowledge of the medical devices within the Medical Equipment Library To use knowledge gained to ensure the medical devices are functioning correctly and they are delivered with all accessories attached To take an active part in decontaminating medical devices To ensure that the medical devices are serviced and stored safely To complete relevant documentation and input data into the computer to record departmental activity and to operate the handheld scanners To enable limited trouble shooting in the ward and department environment PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FULL DUTIES OF THE ROLE.
