Job description
To develop personal skills in education including: An understanding of adult educational theories; Knowledge of educational theory and undertaking educational research Assessment and evaluation methodology; Knowledge of human factors and crisis resource management and their role in simulation-based learning and the wider clinical environment. Participate in the development and teaching of new and existing teaching courses, for postgraduate and undergraduate trainees, including simulation programmes. Undertake evaluation of courses and teaching delivered to ensure that trainees needs are continually met. Undertake research in medical education and aim to present research and novel ideas at local, national and international meetings.
Assist in the completion of work-based assessments for trainees.
