Full-Time Medical Biller
Location: Brookhaven, MS
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm
Job Description:
We are looking for a full-time Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing and coding and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
● Review patient charts and medical records to ensure accuracy of billing
● Code procedures and diagnoses according to CPT and ICD-10-CM guidelines
● Submit insurance claims and follow up on payments
● Post payments
● Maintain patient accounts and resolve billing issues
● Provide customer service to patients and insurance companies
Qualifications:
● Associate degree in medical billing and coding or related field
● 2+ years of experience in medical billing and coding
● Proficient in CPT and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines
● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
● Strong customer service skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
