Police Information Technician I

Summary
The Police Information Technician Imonitors and responds to radio and telephone calls for law enforcement service. Conducts Department of Motor Vehicle checks, warrant checks, conducts criminal record checks. Creates and maintains detailed files for the Police Department
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or GED Good knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, and equipment
- Valid NC driver’s license and good driving record
- Some knowledge of customer service techniques especially when dealing with angry or discourteous people, and
- Division of Criminal Information (DCI) certification within 120 days of employment.

24/7 rotating shifts
