As a Medical Audio Typist within Adult Mental Health Services, you will provide a comprehensive Medical Audio Typing service to the Consultant Psychiatrist’s based within South Ayrshire H&SCP.
Experience within an Audio Typist role is essential and you should be educated to SVQ III in Business Admin or equivalent experience. You should have advanced typing skills and proven audio typing experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with a range of disciplines.
A working knowledge of the patient management system (Trakcare), Care Partner, Winscribe and knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
Primary duties will include, transcription of clinical correspondence using digital dictation and processing patient results appropriately and timeously.
Hours – 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday)
