Medical Assistant

Brief Job Description:
This isn’t your typical Medical Assistant role – we provide a more diverse array of medical services than most clinics, leading to a challenging and fun, fast-paced environment that keeps you engaged every day without repetitive mundane tasks. You’ll have more input and be empowered to bring solutions directly to senior staff to improve processes and suggest alternative options. As you progress in your skills and job proficiency, you’ll assume more responsibility and opportunities to help grow your career. And – our medical providers are approachable, easy to communicate with, and willing to work collaboratively with MAs on all aspects of the job.
Brief List of Job Duties:
- Work with medical providers to perform DOT physicals, pre-employment physicals, audiograms and Workers Compensation visits
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Document visit information in electronic medical record
- Administer injections and venipunctures
- Perform PFT’s, respirator fittings and EKG’s
- Clean and stock the exam rooms
- Assist medical providers with phone calls/documentation
Skills Required:
- The ability to communicate professionally with all staff and patients
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in typing, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
- Proficient with technology, Microsoft Office and EMR systems
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- 1 Year related medical experience (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

- Occasional on-call after-hours and weekends (with extra compensation)
