Primary Responsibilities:
- Data mining to close care gaps
- Assists with coordination review with group Medical Director and local UM staff, as indicated
- Performs site and medical record audits as indicated
- Supports IPA activities related to P4P, 5 STAR, and HEDIS initiatives
- Accurately uses data base for documentation, tracking and trending
- Maintains organized hard copy records & files
- Maintains all QI resources for interdepartmental use
- Informs ancillary departments of new and existing policies and changes
- Able to problem solve and make decisions independently
- Participates in a team environment supporting and respecting all members, encouraging achievement of group goals
- Meets all health plan contract compliance directives for quality (i.e. access audits, focused audits, quarterly/annual reporting)
- Maintains ongoing communication and feedback with customers and/or clients in order to support needs and resolve problems
- Supports all health plan requests in a timely manner
- Assists nurse personnel with preparation for IPA Peer Review Committee in conjunction with QI Chairperson/ Medical Director
- Positive and productive participant on teams and committees
- Communicates activities and progress of assigned committees and teams to Manager and appropriate staff
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Certified Medical Assistant
- 1+ years of experience with healthcare data mining and reporting
- Proficient/ experienced with Microsoft programs
