We are looking for a team member that has strong communication skills, performs in a fast paced environment and works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to facilitate patient care. Our Medical Assistant will work directly with healthcare practice staff to maintain patient records,explain common medical procedures to patients and assist in basic examinations. The Medical Assistant is to perform various clinical duties to keep our healthcare practice running efficiently & smoothly. Candidate must be reliable, flexible, hardworking, and professional. Candidate must be willing to travel to our different office locations.
Responsibilities & Duties:
* Record patient information such as vital signs,weight and changes in medical history prior to each appointment
* Entering patient demographics
* Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
* Participate in the care of the patient, under the direct supervision of the physician and in collaboration with the healthcare team.
* Greets, welcomes and escorts patients to exam rooms
Skills:
* High level of professionalism
* Multitasking ability
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
* Experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital is a plus

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team and provide assistance to our surgeons and podiatrists. The successful candidate will be responsible for prepping patients for surgery, assisting with minor procedures, taking patient vitals, and helping to maintain a clean and organized medical environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient preparation for surgery.
- Provide post-operative care.
- Prepare and maintain medical records.
- Assist with podiatry procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Assist with minor surgical procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and other medical duties as assigned.
