Job description
We are looking for a FULL TIME Certified Medical Assistant that has the flexibility to work a rotating schedule.
- On call for one week a month. Call is Monday - Sunday. Monday- Friday the MA is on call from 11pm - 6am and Saturday and Sunday they are on call 24 hrs. a day.
We offer competitive salary and benefits! Shift differential is paid for weekend hours and hours after 6pm on the weekdays. We also offer additional pay for holiday and call.
Responsibilities and Duties
Preparation of patients for their respective examinations.
Reads patient notes and follows patient safety screening instructions.
Forwards the patient to appropriate personnel concerning questions about procedures.
Dressing of patient appropriately for their procedures.
Completion of patient paperwork.
Assist technologists with moving and lifting of patients, assisting patients to the restroom, and any other patient care duties as needed.
Stocking and organization of all work area, to include scan rooms, patient holding areas, storerooms, etc.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Must be a Registered Medical Assistant.
Radiology experience is a plus.
Excellent patient care and customer service skills are required.
