Job Summary:This job is responsible for assisting in examination, lab draws, prescription fills, referrals, and treatment of patients under direction of the Medical Provider.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in the Center or home visits and in the care and education of patients
- Works with the Clinic Manager, refers clients to resources to meet their needs both within the Center and through other health, social service, and education providers
- Assists in ensuring that patient tracking systems function effectively and are kept up to date
- Administers immunizations, updates immunization records, and promotes childhood and adult immunizations
- Documents all patient contracts daily and reviews with the Clinic Manager or Medical Director to formulate a patient care plan
- Assists Clinic Manager with health promotion and education, counseling patients individually, and helps to organize educational, screening and health promotion programs
Education/Experience
Associate’s Degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school unless otherwise waived by Tribal Council as based on determined experience and accomplishments.
CPR & Veni-Puncture Certificates are highly desirable including a CMA or RMA credentials.
