Job description
We are looking for a friendly, caring, patient-centric Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the pharmacists in delivering high quality, excellent healthcare service and experience to patients. As the first point of contact with patients in the pharmacy, this is a key role in welcoming patients, gathering information on their needs, providing them appropriate health advice, or referring to the pharmacists as needed.
The assistant will also receive prescriptions predominantly online and help to dispense these correctly and in a timely manner, to ensure prompt delivery directly to the patient’s home.
The assistant will complete sales transactions and restock over the counter and prescription medications on shelves. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain valuable experience in a growing online pharmacy business.
The assistant will be required to work morning or afternoon shifts Monday to Friday and alternate Fridays of average weekly hours ~28.5. The annual salary will be pro-rated to reflect contracted hours.
